Taekwondo Club

The Temple Taekwondo Club teaches Olympic-style sparring, which develops high levels of strength, agility, and endurance. Founded in 1997 under Master Laurence Narcisi, the Taekwondo Club has since expanded to more than thirty active members. The Taekwondo Club is dedicated to developing skills in the martial art of Taekwondo. We emphasize building strength, endurance, and technical skills.  We participate in three collegiate tournaments per semester where the competitors include students from Yale, MIT, Princetone, and other Ivy League universities.  The Temple Taekwondo club strives to win at all competitions, and this is recognized by the other teams. In the spring of 2011, the team earned the title of Division 3 Champions for 2010-2011.

We welcome participants of all skill levels, and membership in the club provides opportunities to earn belt degrees.  The membership dues are $65/semester, but if you choose to pay for both semester at one time, the total cost is $120.  Club members must purchase uniforms and protective equipment themselves.  Orders can be placed at the beginning of each semester for discounted merchandise.
