    Spring 2021 Episodes

    • Friday,  April 30th:  The Cliffs at Callowhill

    • Friday,  April 23rd:  Climbing Gyms

    Indoor and outdoor climbing are different to be sure, and we've explored some of those differences in the past with Kate.  In this week's episode of Fall for the Wall Fridays, Isa is talking more about how climbing gyms developed, some of the trends we see developing in them and how indoor/outdoor climing interact with each other.  CLICK HERE for this week's episode,

    • Friday, April 16th:  Daniel Woods' V17 and Bouldering Grading

    Our love and knowledge of climbing in growing with another episode of Fall for the Wall Fridays.  In this week's episode, Kate talks about American boulderer Daniel Wood.  Recently he sent his project, a proposed V17 addition to Sleepwalker, called Return of the Sleepwalker.  Kate will break down some of the history of the V17 grade and climbers who have proposed V17s in the past.  CLICK HERE for this week's episode

    Fall for the Wall Fridays continues our road trip theme this week, except we're just heading to your couch for a movie night!  Kate talks about some climbing movies to watch (Beside Free Solo), including short films about the first woman to climb the grade 5.15 and a group of black men from Memphis learning how to ice climb.  CLICK HERE for this week's episode

    Fall for the Wall Fridays is back for another semester of exciting information about climbing!  In our first episode of 2021, Issa talks about the fear that most people have when they begin climbing...a fear of fall off the wall.  She'll talk about how to manage and overcome these fears to allow for an enjoyable experience.  CLICK HERE for this week's episode, past episodes can be found below.

    In this week's episode of Fall for the Wall Fridays we're going to learn about an awesome feat by a special woman!  Isa talks about climber Emily Harrington's recent accomplishment of being the first woman to free climb the Golden Gate route (over 3000 ft!) on El Cap in Yosemite in less than a day.  CLICK HERE to check out this week's episode.

    Alpha, Beta rah rah rah! NOPE not quite what we mean.  Is there a right or wrong way to climb a route?     Its Fri-Yeah and time for another fun and informative episode of Fall for the Wall Fridays.  Climbing can seem hard to get into, but a good way to pick up new information and get excited is by following active climbers on social media!
